Anecdotal evidence on Apple.

I  have no position in AAPL.

This is just one story about one store in thousands of AAPL stores.  I was checking out the store yesterday and was trying to get the inside scope on their special release for their 10 year anniversary.  I asked how things were going, the worker told me that there were a lot of changes and there had been a lot of turnover.

If I was investor I would do a little bit more research and see if it is a common theme of turnover.  I am long term bearish on any tech company that cannot compete on price.  Also am worried that their website is almost unusable for support. I understand they spend a lot of energy and money so you do not have to use support. If/when they have a major issues they do not have a contigency plan from my point of view.

The cheap labor of China is being offset by the expense of support in the US.

Does high turnover in one store matter, no but it may be signaling a change.  They have an all store meeting Sunday morning.  Are they having to sacrifice culture to do this?  I am not sure.  Their reveal should give some direction.

The problem with any popularity contest is that tastes change.
