This is my 531st post and the final one. Thank you.

This is my 531st post or half a day’s work for Joe Weisenthal. It has been a good run.  I want to thank several people.  First, the reason I started writing was because of Gary Vaynerchuk. The reason I have something to write is because of my mentors.

I started blogging at www.mytradingnetwork.com and then had an issue with Yahoo! and I lost that domain and moved to www.myfuturesnetwork.com.  After hosting issues and knowing that I wanted to move to a different theme I launched TH.  This could not have been possible without the ineptitude of Yahoo! and the encouragement of @FXalgo.

I got a jump start from Chicago Sean who gave me some retweets and was my earlier editor.  Often sending me emails correcting my grammar.  It made me realize I need to spend a few seconds editing because people were actually reading it.

From there I was helped along from Points and Figures, who shared a story with Phil Pearlman and Joshua Brown.  From there I got some notice from Abnormal Returns and The Kirk Report.

I managed to make it in Crains, Forbes.com, and Washington Post.

The journey has been interesting like any time you head down a path you are drawn to take.  I have learned a lot about myself, communication, and the goodness of people.  I appreciate all of the comments, emails, and discussions that occurred over the few years that I have been blogging.  I have been touched as much as I hope I touched some of you.  But like anything good, it all must come to an end.

Special thanks to @bamatrader@futuresquants, @chessnwine, @stocksage1,@jwmaden, @edwardrooster, @GYSC16, and the always awesome @Nictrades who were especially generous with the RT’s.

As for my future, I will be focused on landing the job as slide show producer at BI and lead hairstylist for Jefferey Carter and Phil Pearlman along with developing Chicago Sean’s new cat clothing line.

We would really appreciate your feedback, if you like, hate, or think we are full of crap. Please leave a comment, a voice mail (312) 725-9121, email info @ traderhabits (dot) com or twitterstocktwitsyoutube and facebookSubscribe to Traderhabits by email or to newsletter.  I am not quitting the blog, just seeing how closely people read.

  • Thank you for everything Eli. Will be missing your great, honest posts and I am sure many others will be missing them too.

I wish you great success in your future endeavours!
