Phone call: How can this be happening to me?

I get a phone call last night from a client. He tells me about a string of bad luck he is having. I ask him to tell me exactly what he means.

“I have been doing (enter anything you want because it does not matter).”

“Why?”

“Because it worked before.”

“When is the last time you made money doing that in that situation?”

“A few weeks ago”

“Could it be that you are missing an input, maybe something has changed in the way you are seeing it or the market has changed?”

“How can this be happening to me?”

“Why do you keep doing the same thing?”

“……”

The phone stays silent for a few moments, we then get into a long conversation that I have had with myself and others many, many times.  You probably have had the same.

We would really appreciate your feedback, if you like, hate, or think we are full of crap. Please leave a comment, a voice mail (312) 725-9121, email info @ traderhabits (dot) com or twitterstocktwits, and facebook.
