sometimes if/when I enter in at or above my price in a bull move (for example) I get whipsawed on the typical pullback that occurs before the real “take off.” So I like to enter in either on that pullback or before the move started in the first place. I haven’t found it work for me to enter in at or above in a bull move. any thoughts?

    • Important to think about the second trade first, ie where you are going to get out. Without knowing where your risk price is and profit potential hard to make any suggestions but that is the first thing I would look at.  Being a trader is about knowing what is working, but more importantly what is working in the context of the individual trader.
